Xerox WorkCentre 3025 driver for Windows 11 and 10
The WorkCentre 3025 is a compact laser printer-scanner from 2014. Xerox no longer releases drivers for it, but the last packages - from 2014, a regular one and an XPS one (two print formats Windows understands; the regular one is what most people need) - are in the catalog and usually install on Windows 11 through the manual path.
Why this happens
- Xerox stopped releasing drivers for this model, so a fresh Windows finds nothing on its own.
- A Windows reinstall or upgrade removed the working driver.
- Printing and scanning are two separate drivers - one can be missing while the other works.

1Rule out the simple things
The machine is on, no error lights, the USB cable seated on both ends. A minute here saves half the “driver” cases.
2See how Windows shows it
Press Win+X → Device Manager - the list of every device Windows sees. The 3025 under “Printers”, or hanging as an unknown device, tells you which side needs work.
If the machine is healthy but Windows cannot drive it, install the last package Xerox released - the catalog page below leads to it.

Fixing it manually
Install the last Xerox package
- Open the WorkCentre 3025 page in our catalog and take the regular package (not the XPS one).
- Run the installer; if Windows 11 refuses: Device Manager → the device → Update driver → “Browse my computer for drivers”.
- Print a test page.
Bring scanning back separately
- If pages print but the scanner is “not found”, install the scanner part - it is its own driver.
- Test with the built-in Windows Scan app (free in the Microsoft Store if missing).

▸What is the XPS version and do I need it?
A different internal print format that some office software asks for. Most people need the regular package; take XPS only if a program specifically demands it.
▸It prints, but it does not scan.
Two separate drivers. Install the scanner part of the package and test with the Windows Scan app.
▸Mine is the Wi-Fi model (3025BI) and the network setup fails.
Connect it over USB first and finish the driver install - then run the network setup from the machine's own utility. USB first makes the wireless part far less stubborn.
