About DriverCove

DriverCove is an independent technical catalog of Windows drivers. We collect driver metadata from official distribution channels - Microsoft Update Catalog and manufacturer catalogs (Dell, Lenovo, HP, ASUS, NVIDIA, Epson, Canon) - verify the files, and publish everything a person needs to choose the right driver: exact versions, release dates, supported hardware IDs, SHA-256 checksums and direct official download links.

What we do differently

• We never host or repackage driver files. Every download link points to the manufacturer's own servers.
• We download and hash the files we list, so you can verify that what you downloaded is what the vendor published.
• We show all versions of a driver, not just the newest - sometimes an older version is the right choice.
• We publish the supported Hardware IDs for each driver, so compatibility can be checked precisely.

How the site is funded

Driver downloads are free and always will be - every link points to the manufacturer's official server, and we charge nothing at any step. The site currently carries no paid placements, no sponsored listings and no affiliate links. If clearly-labeled advertising appears in the future, it will never influence which drivers we list or how we verify them.
