Editorial Policy

Every page on DriverCove exists to answer a real user task: find a specific driver, identify unknown hardware, or decide between updating manually and automatically. We do not publish content whose only purpose is to rank for a keyword.

Principles

• Data over claims: driver pages show verifiable fields (versions, dates, checksums, hardware IDs) sourced from official catalogs.
• The manual path is always presented honestly and free of charge; the automatic path is clearly labeled as a separate commercial product.
• Commercial blocks are visually distinct and never disguised as system messages or scan results.
• Errors are corrected when reported; substantive updates change the page's visible metadata.

Advertising and affiliate content
