Chipset & system devices drivers
Chipset drivers are the nervous system of the board: bus controllers, power management, SMBus, ACPI devices. Windows runs without them, but with odd gaps - unknown devices in Device Manager, sleep that does not work, slow ports. The packages here are Intel, AMD and board-maker releases from official sources.
